SAP Consultant (SCM & SAP)

JOB PURPOSE – summary of outputs of the job

The SAP Consultant is responsible for the organization and direction of all SAP based services of the group. To ensure that the overall SAP system of the company is sound, stable, well maintained, responsive and supports the company objectives in all directions.

The SAP B1 Consultant is responsible to solve SAP issues of the end user, and be responsive to his internal clients, who rely on functional SAP.

The SAP User is an individual with great company process understanding and has an eye for details that might shortcut company information flow. Due to high integrity and data consistency, he secures the responsiveness of the central database of the company.

Technical qualifies all SAP-related purchase orders and counter signs any system changes requirements.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

Full cycle project implementation as well as support and enhancement projects.

Analyzing business processes and conducting gap analysis between SAP Business One solution and the business practices.

Proficient in using SQL queries, views and stored procedures.

Customizing forms and developing reports using Crystal Reports

Performing system configuration, installation, data migration and testing.

Conducting user training and support activities.

Automating SAP deployment, configuration and operations.

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Essential:

3-5 years experience implementing SAP.

Minimum of 3 full cycles or an ERP implementation project.

Knowledge of business processes in Finance and Distribution.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Accountable, initiative and able to take ownership

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong time-management skills and are able to work in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in data centre management and data governance

Ability to be mobile and travel for projects

Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure.

Experience in SAP Sizing

Experience in SAP Installation

Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery

Experience in SAP High Availability architecture
