Medical Research Manager

MSF-OCA is looking for a (PARA)MEDICAL RESEARCH MANAGER for its project in Quetta - Balochistan. MSF offers a package of benefits (sala leaves, medical coverage, training and career support) and the opportunity to work for an internationally renowned humanitarian organization.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinates all research and clinical trial activities, ensure that implementation of the study and the research is conducted conform specific protocols and related SOPs and Good Clinical Practice

Supervise and Monitor the research activities on spot and provide adequate and timely support to the study team

Ensure compliance to the research protocols and its related SOPs (e.g. patient eligibility, recruitment, informed consent, medical consultation, etc.)

Support the PI (research coordinator) in organizing and facilitating training sessions for the study team,

In collaboration with the lab supervisor, ensure the compliance to the SOPs regarding the laboratory procedures including the appropriate QC internal and external validation SOPs are maintained

Support the data manager on proper data entry into the database and identify quality gaps in the data/information collected by the study team

Education

Essential: Medical or Nursing related diploma.

Essential: Specialization or training in tropical diseases; with extensive training in statistics and epidemiology, Masters degree in Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or Public Health Good, Clinical Practice training

Experience

Essential: Proven experience in medical research field / or Public health and in good clinical practice

Essential: Proven experience in managing a team and coordinating medical activities

Languages

Essential: Fluent written and spoken English and Urdu.

Desirable: Good level of Pashtu, Persian and other relevant local language

Knowledge

Essential: computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
