Manager DevOps

Lead the team to design and implement the DevOps architecture and automation solutions including infrastructure security, automated provisioning, CI/CD pipeline

Coach team to drive for results with continuous improvements on technical skills, architectural thinking and communication efficiency Ensure performance and availability of infrastructure at all times

Lead an efficient and effective DevOps Team capable of consistent throughput and delivery of features.

Ensure the adoption of best practices in terms of DevOps Infrastructure, DevOps Architecture; Continuous Delivery and Integration; Deployment.

Manages service delivery of website/systems reliability and scalability including reporting, configuration and build, testing, planning, and deployment of solutions and will be accountable for all aspects of deployment and technical operations

Assigns and monitors work of DevOps technical personnel, ensuring the deployment in best possible way.

Support the recruitment and development of staff within the overall DevOps function. Manage and expand the team to support and grow the DevOps environment working closely with cross functional teams (product Owners, Network, DBA, BI and QA etc.).

Work with the Head of Department to deliver a clear technology infrastructure for DevOps Products.

Assist in designing, transitioning, and deploying of applications to various clouds specially AWS, GCP and Azure cloud services.

Responsible for application configurations in different cloud/hosting environments proactively monitor, identify, and escalate issues or root causes of Hosting and deployment issues.

Ensure compliance with information security responsibilities specific to your job role. Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.

Skills & Tools:

Should have minimum 5-6 years of experience in DevOps (Azure and OnPrem) and TFS.

Should have exposure of Jenkins, Octopus, Fast lane, Ansible and other related technologies.

Should have minimum 2 years of experience in GitHub. Knowledge of GitLab and BitBucket will be a plus.

Some what exposure of project management tools other than DevOps e.g. Jira

Should have good exposure of cloud environments espacially AWS, GCP and Azure

Should have good knowledge of Monitoring tools like Pingdom, Datadog, Azure Application Insights, Kuma, Grafna etc.
