Import Manager

A renowned Group of Companies requires the services of Import Manager with 5 to 10 years of experience. The candidate should preferably be from Manufacturing Indsutry. The incumbent has to perform all the tasks related to day to day import operations. Additionally the candidate must be able to communicate and negotiate with various Global Suppliers.

The incumbent must be able to ;

• Research, compare & negotiate various offers from the potential vendors for the best possible buying and agreement terms in order to make it cost effective.
• Compliance with local/regional Government and Global Maritime commission regulations along with dangerous good regulations
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity standards at all times.
• Prepare reports, cost analysis with monitorig of stock levels with warehouse coordination

Pre-Requisites

• Effective interpersonal communication with proven abilities to listen and comprehend effectively.
• Must have knowledge of L/C Opening
• Knowledge of Related SROs with interpretation
