CBL provided me the opportunity to be the custodian of entire value chain ranging from product development, supply chain, production, sales and marketing.
Key Highlights at TUC biscuit
In June 2013, an additional brand from CBL’s portfolio called TUC was assigned to me. TUC is the most profitable biscuit brand in CBL’s business In November 2013 TUC achieved its highest ever sales since the inception of this brand subsequently increasing its bottom line, contribution by 4% Conceptualized and launched a unique branded content ‘TUC – The Lighter Side of Life’ in December 2013. ‘TUC-The Lighter Side of Life’ became the first branded content on TV to achieve 1+ average rating on satellite channels Brand innovation funnel was designed to include young adults in brand’s franchise.
Key Achievements at Tiger Biscuits Within 6 months since I took charge of the brand, Tiger’s volume increased by 33%, giving momentum to CBL’s entire portfolio In line with strong consumer insights, I launched a communication on Tiger biscuit ‘Bachpan Mubarak’ in Jan 2014 strengthening the positioning of the brand on “Nutritional Platform”. This communication proved to be a game changer for the brand driving awareness and differentiation in the category Successful transition of Tiger from a Profit dilutor to a Profit driver brand
