Associate Officer, Sampling, Quality Control

Responsibilities & Context

Adhere to and uphold the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for both the production process and quality checks on finished textile products

Ensure compliance with design instructions during the approval of samples

Verify the styling, construction, trims & accessories, measurements, and workmanship during the sample approval phase

Assess and address potential safety concerns for children clothing associated with samples

Develop and provide necessary reports to relevant stakeholders

Maintain accuracy of quality reports, conduct statistical reviews, and manage relevant documentation

Education

A Bachelor Degree (preferably B.Sc in Textile) from any reputed university

Additional Requirements

Age at least 18 years

Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in Sample Department in RMG sector/ similar organization

Knowledge of Quality assurance (fabric, basic pattern, sewing construction, interlining and risk assessment)

Understanding of Textile and Garments production process (fabrics inspection, cutting, washing-color bleeding)

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork within the department

Analytical ability and report writing skills

Exhibit good communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
