Senior Officer, Procurement

JOB PURPOSE: Procurement of Laptop/Desktop/ ICT/ Miscellaneous goods as per requirement of different programmes in BRAC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchase Laptop/Desktop/ ICT/ Miscellaneous goods, etc.

Prepare RFQ documents according to procurement threshold value as per BRAC Procurement Guidelines & Implementation Procedures (BPGIP)

Coordinate with the Evaluation Committee Members through reviewing the compliance documents, quotations and comparative statement preparation

Monitor and follow up with the vendors for on time product delivery

Make product specification if needed.

Coordinate the meetings with internal stakeholders and the vendors (as and when required)

Inspection of product when necessary

Process vendor’s invoices while ensure checking of delivery challan, user’s acknowledgement and other relevant documents

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
