Government Liaison & Security Officer

Act as a key liaison between Relief International and government authorities (NGOAB, RRRC, CIC, DC, UNO and others as applicable) and other stakeholders by regular meeting for seeking all necessary approvals/permissions for program activities, approvals of FD-6, FD-7, FC-1 etc., NOC/Clearance at end of the project, travel authorizations, and ensure positive working relations with the government at all times.

Age at least 18 years

Working experience with UN/NGOs/INGOs in security accesses, FDMN and conflict/sensitive areas will strongly be preferred.

Proven experience in coordination with government authorities and other stakeholders

Strong computer skills (MS Office) and strong analytical skills

Willingness to make frequent field trips to the field

Ability to work under stressful conditions and working environment

Excellent diplomatic skills and knowledge of the context

Excellent language skills (written and spoken) in both Bangla and English; previous interpretation/ translation experience preferred
