HR Specialist

Job Description

Assisting in performance management and employee evaluation

Monitor employee motivation and make appropriate recommendation to ensure positive employee experience in the organisation

Handle employee grievances and provide basic counselling to employees who have performance related obstacles

Screening initial resumes and applications and providing short list to the department head

Evaluating applicants by discussing job requirements & applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications

Provide recommendations on employee development strategies and training needs

Prepare and update job descriptions, job specifications and other employee documents

Organize employee orientation sessions, training sessions, workshops and activities

Communicate and coordinate with members of other department to ensure smooth functioning

Other Specification

Masters’ Degree with a specialization in Human Resources or other relevant fields

2 years’ work experience in a similar role

Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)

Strong analytical, people management and problem solving skills

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality

Thorough knowledge of HRM tools and employment-related laws and regulations
