Community Animators

Under the overall supervision and technical guidance of the CP officer implementation of the activities at district level.

Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected when participating in the activities and are encouraged to work in collaboration with other peers and partners while sharing the same to act like a positive role model and demonstrate conflict solving behaviors.

Ensure that all necessary items and materials, equipment’s are accounted for and stored securely at the end of the day.

Liaise with parents and the community elders regularly to keep them informed of any developments or problems within the CP activities and surrounding area and mobilize their full support and cooperation for smooth implementation of the project activities in their communities.

Deliver aware raising sessions to children on Mine Risk Education in communities, schools/Madarassa and other public places.

Aware and mobilize communities and conduct meetings for the formation of Child Protection Committees (CPCs) with community members including adolescents, parents, teacher, etc.

Facilitate trainings of the CPC, Adolescents champions and community influencers while mobilization and conduct necessary arrangements.

Monitor and maintain necessary records regarding the activities of security guards and Van Drivers.

Submit daily/weekly activities reports to the supervisor.

Any other task assigned by supervisor.

Qualification:

BA with 2 years of working experience in the relevant field

Local candidates having relevant experience will be given preference.
