Electrician, Maintenance Department
Job Responsibilities
- Check all circuit breakers of distribution boards at various locations.
- Check all electrical power lines in all floors of BRAC center, Annex Building, BRAC University.
- Attain all complaints from various programmes of BRAC Centre, BRAC University, Aarong, Niketon Housing, Chairperson House, Directors Residence as and when required.
- Check all electrical power points of UPS, Computer, Table fan, Hand dryer and Machines etc.
- Arrange new electrical power line for power supply of new computer, printer or any type electrical machine installation and all electrical line for renovation works.
- Check all electrical lights in the morning and evening time.
- Install and repair electrical equipments, lighting and circuits.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Skills on electrical maintenance work.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes.
- Knowledge on electrical system and equipments.
