Assistant Officer, Nursery (BRAC Nursery Enterprise)
Job Responsibilities
- Achieve targeted production and sales target as per yearly budget
- Ensure physical check of the inventory for the accurate physical balance and minimum damage / loss
- Examine plants for diseases, insects, wildlife damage, and weeds to protect the health of the plants
- Build good relationship with the customer to promote sales, organize fair & other promotional activities to achieve sales targets
- Confirm the productivity, welfare and administrative function. Monitoring the production process for minimizing the cost
- Plan and execute product diversification as per market need
- Report timely of routine matters and special issues as and when assigned by the management
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements
- Have to be proficient in both written and verbal communications
- Have good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and analytical
- Have knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, Internet browsing
- Have knowledge on people management, networking
- Must have to work under pressure.
