Officer, Environment, Health and Safety (Aarong Dairy)
Job Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect the workplace environments and equipment to identify potential hazards and control measures.
- Conduct safety risk assessments to determine the level of risk associated with specific hazards.
- Take initiatives to reduce emission, waste generation and energy consumption as a protection measures for environment.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as emergency procedures, personal protective equipment and safe work practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions based on the findings.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with environment, health ,safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate & assist daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance schedule & follow up with service reports.
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement the environment, health and safety programs.
- Monitor, update and supervise the emergency response teams (fire fighter, rescuer & first aid teams) so that everyone remains prepared for any sudden incident.
- Monitor and prepare reports on environment, health & safety incidents, inspections, training and other relevant activities.
- Maintain a working relationship with regulatory agencies and ensure that the factory is in compliance with all applicable regulations
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
