Job Responsibilities
  • Must be Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food preparation, hygiene, and safety, food handling procedures, and following written instructions.
  • Must be able to read and understand in English and Bengali.
  • Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
  • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Clean and maintain station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills.
  • Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Sous Chef /Chef at any time.
  • To appropriately delegate and assist in all tasks delegated within the section.
  • To accurately and calmly give instructions to junior staff during service and assist if necessary in the completion of the instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kg.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management.

Educational Requirements
  • Minimum HSC/Diploma from a reputed Institution.
Additional Requirements
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Demonstrate good knife skills.
  • Show interest and knowledge of flavor and food products
  • Show good practice in working hygienically around food with attention to detail
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Experience working within a high volume fast food establishment as Line/ Commis Chef or Cook
