Kitchen Supervisor (COVID - 19 Response)

Job Context

The Kitchen Supervisor at RI`s main Hospital COVID 19 Response in Ukhiya works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor in Ukhiya, and directly supports the cook and the Helper (Cook) on general Kitchen activities i.e. Maintenance of daily consumption, preparing database of consumption weekly and monthly, supervising daily kitchen activities, ensuring hygiene of the kitchen, and ensuring the food standard of the hospital. The position will also be responsible for covering for the kitchen activities for RI`s main hospital COVID19 response when the cooks are away. This position requires accountability, flexibility, sense of responsibility and hard work.

Job Responsibilities

Support on kitchen management, inventory and maintain hygiene

Prepared and ensure the daily requirement of food supply for the Hospital

Daily updating of inventory and database

Responsible for weekly and monthly update for the report

Ensure proper filling of the inventory documentations

Help in updating of the Hospitals kitchen asset register and inventory

Liaison with Logistic team to keep the smooth supply of kitchen raw material

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Educational Requirements

At least a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements

Both males and females are allowed to apply

1-2 Years work experience in kitchen or related field, preferably with NGOs/Hotels

Able to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.

Able to work independently and within a team.

Diligent in work processes.

Flexible in schedule, attitude and work prioritization.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google software, particularly Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Word and MS Excel. Adobe suite preferred.

Fluency in English & Bangla.

Salary Review: Yearly

Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.

Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
