Sustainability Executive (EHS)

Responsibilities & Context

Engage with sustainability initiatives.

Implement, Manage and Analyze internal sustainability initiatives throughout supply chain.

Execute sustainability strategy to facility level with targets and action plans.

Conduct internal training for cross functional departments on sustainability matters.

Implementation of environmental management system in the scope of ISO 14001 standard requirements and coordinate continuous improvement of the system.

Fulfill the sustainability requirements of different lender like DEG, OeEB, EcoVadis. GRI etc.

Prepare annual sustainability plan & report.

To formulate, implement and monitoring of different sustainability management system policy & procedures.

Gather, consolidate and analyze different data such as (waste, water, wastewater, energy, emission etc.) from production and sources through systems such as Higg FEM and other 3rd party sources.

Identify opportunities to address key environmental topics and propose concrete measures to reduce environmental impact of the operations.

Manage facility performance and progress of strategies on sustainability.

Adoption of ZDHC (Zero Discharge Hazardous Chemicals Program, Roadmap to Zero) Wastewater and MRSL guideline requirements to operations and regular follow up the updates.

Working closely with related departments (Maintenance, Utility, SCM, Transport Management, Power Generation & Distribution etc.) to manage Restricted Substances Management and in case of noncompliance issues developing remediation plan & projects with the team.

Represent facility in the best possible way during environmental, sustainability and related audits and verifications.

Work closely with other relevant departments to ensure the successful adoption of more sustainable practices (quality, raw materials, sourcing etc.).

Passionate in Environmental Sustainability and committed to drive positive change.

Knowledge about carbon credit and plastic credit.
