The Job

You will be responsible for :

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

Designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

Integration of user-facing elements developed by frontend developers with server-side logic

Implementing security and data protection

Integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system

Understanding the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

Analysing and customising the source code as per business requirements.

Coordinating development and deployment activities.

The Profile

You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.

You are an expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc. depending on your technology stack.

You have developed applications with the latest technologies like Django, MySQL and have used Python Libraries like Sympy, Numpy, Scipy.

You have worked with frontend web development technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery, etc.

You show familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.

You show an understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.

You have a solid understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack

A basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is required.

You possess knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

You have familiarity with event-driven programming in Python

You have strong unit test and debugging skills

You possess proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
