About Regression - ERP testing (SAP ECC 6)

Regression is testing cycle to be performed in SAP ECC 6 (ERP) in new version/release, before it's rolled out to live environment. Job Incumbent will coordinate with ERP technical team and engage Business User(s) to perform testing as per given test script for the business process. He will also make sure that the reported faults/ bugs should be fixed. He will also coordinate and monitor delivery of enhancement(s).

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate SAP ECC 6.0 Regression Testing Cycles & Retrofit in South Asia Area

• Develop /update high-level regression test plan along with test scripts at the later stage (if required)

• Coordination/liaison with company-wide testers/business users and external (Solution Center, Central team base outside of Pakistan) and get sign-off

• Prepare the readiness of regression environments, this may involve cross-solution environments and vendors (e.g. data center for data or system restore).

• Maintenance of Progress Dashboard, engagement, and communication to IT Top Team

Skill Required

• Strong communication skills & good command on the English language

• Ability to work with remote team members and customers

• SAP ECC 6.0 – Overall good understanding on all modules

• HPQC (HP Quality Center) – Experience in using HP Quality Center or similar tool is a plus point.

Qualification:

• Master Degree in Computer Science / Business Administration or Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering or Software Engineering from the institution recognized by HEC / PEC.

•Experience in using HP Quality Center or similar tool is a plus point.
