Assistant Finance Manager

Task profile

Responsibility for accounting including operational cooperation, e.g., in the area of ??revenue recognition.

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS in collaboration with the admin teams.

Creation of monthly group reporting, e.g. working capital reporting, management packs, customer attrition analysis.

Responsibility for controlling, including rolling forecasts and analysis of monthly results and deriving recommendations for action.

Responsibility for balance sheet and P&L, including monthly account reconciliations (Blackline)

Business partner of the management and other department heads

Support in the integration of acquired companies.

Monitoring and further development of the internal control system

Preparation of statutory annual financial statements and coordination of tax returns for 2-4 group companies

Responsibility for preparing advance sales tax returns, ZM, statistical reports, etc.

Central contact for auditors and tax advisors

Disciplinary and professional management of 1-2 employees

Requirements

Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or a BIG 4 company

Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage.

Experience in operational accounting

Understanding of the finance manager/controller as a "business partner”

Experience in the software industry is a plus.

Hands-on mentality and initiative

Team player

IT affinity – especially advanced MS Excel knowledge

Confident appearance in order to be able to act as a sparring partner at management level.

Ideally experience in post-merger integrations

Solid knowledge of English
