Global Engineering Services is an offshore office for Whizz Systems Inc., headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA. Global Engineering Services is a pioneer in providing System Design, PCB Layout, FPGA Design, CAM, and ASIC Design services in Pakistan since 2000.

Overview:

This position is responsible for the quote, procurement, comparisons as per strategic plan, manage supplier relationships, including price negotiation, planning, and coordination with stock room and production.

Key Responsibilities:

• To extract components from BOM and send these to the supplier to get a quote
• Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and incorrect amounts
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for goods and services
• To negotiate prices of components
• To ask for quotes to brokers for critical parts while preparing MIR and Checking Datasheet for suggesting something for a critical component.
• To maintain Expediting report (follow up of PO, lead time & backorder components) based on material purchasing jobs, specific buyers, specific PO numbers, and specific suppliers.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
