Security Operations Center Analyst

As a SOC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our organization's security operations by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security alerts and incidents. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure the security and integrity of our systems, networks, and data. Key Responsibilities:

Continuously monitor security alerts and events generated by various security tools and systems, such as SIEM, EDR, XDR platforms.

Review and assess security alerts to determine their severity and validity. Perform initial incident triage and classification.

Conduct preliminary investigations into security incidents, including gathering and analyzing relevant data and logs.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, including actions taken and outcomes.

Escalate security incidents to higher-level SOC analysts or appropriate teams when necessary and according to established procedures.

Assist in the maintenance and tuning of security tools to improve detection and response capabilities.

Perform vulnerability assessment activities and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.

Stay informed about current cybersecurity threats, trends, and vulnerabilities and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.

Familiarity with security tools, SIEM solutions, and incident response procedures.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Onsite (Near baloch colony, Pechs, Shahrae faisal, Karachi)

Schedule:

Work hours 6:00pm – 3:00am (Mon - Fri)
