Communication Officer (Audio / Visual)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for video production (videography, format exporting, archiving raw, etc).

Produce professional-quality video footage for supported projects/activities, including emergency coverage, using an HD-quality video camera.

Record narration/voice-over where needed in accordance with guidance from the supervisor.

Archive the edited output in DV and DVD format along with keeping a professional log of the same and take guidance prior to and during each mission from the supervisor.

The cameraman will produce and submit B-Rolls of broadcast quality for final production, keep a record of the final products, archive footage for campaigns and share with the concerned when needed.

Specialized Knowledge & Experience:

At least five years of experience in videography and video editing

Experience in video editing using FCP is necessary

The cameraman shall use his own HD quality video camera, not below the specification of SONY HD NX5 or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in conception, production, and editing of mini video documentaries and PSAs.

Experience covering social, humanitarian, and development subjects within Pakistan will be an asset.
