Job Description:

A Business Analyst (BA) in the software services industry should possess a combination of educational qualifications, technical skills, soft skills, and domain knowledge. Here's a detailed overview of the qualifications and skills required:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: Typically, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's Degree: Optional but beneficial, such as an MBA or a master's in a related field.

Certifications:

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP): Offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) Offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM): Offered by Scrum Alliance for those involved in Agile projects.

Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP): Also offered by PMI for Agile methodologies.

Six Sigma Certification: Helpful for process improvement knowledge.

Technical Skills:
