Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Booking monthly journal entries into Accounting Software/MS Excel.
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank and investment accounts to custodial statements.
  • Monthly preparation of consolidated balance sheets, profit & loss, and cash flow statements and supporting schedules among various entities.
  • Preparing annual cash flow budgets, with quarterly actual to expected analysis.
  • Preparing ad hoc analysis and reports upon request.
  • Liaising with the external auditor and accounts advisor for any requests that may arise.
  • All bookkeeping tasks.
  • The entry of all relevant transactions into the FBR portal. 

REQUIREMENTS FROM THE CANDIDATES

  • Having 2 to 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
  • Staying abreast with the latest accounting laws and policies.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP & IFRS is a plus. Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
