Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the team:
- Well View Champion. Set up Well view data templates for new wells; QC Well view reports daily; Communicating Well view errors back and input Well view data as required.
- Responsible for end of well / pad reports.
- Responsible for verifying all Well view jobs meet audit requirements.
- Participates in Well View coding exercises for data quality reviews.
- Provide benchmarking reports for industry performance analysis such as Rushmore using Well View data when requested.
- Performs more complex Wells database queries and assist engineers/team in building custom queries
- Technical paper proofing and formatting for Company Technical Standards, and other publications as needed
- Technical support for engineering subject matter experts supporting Wells activities (Drilling and Completions activities i.e., D&C)
- Technical support for engineering subject matter experts by providing all information required for Management of Change and Risk Assessment processes (MOC/RA)
- Perform advanced data manipulation in support of engineers’ projects, e.g., use of pivot tables, macros, etc.
- Provide Category Management/Finance support to the team:
- In coordination with the staff engineers and SCM, initiate/manage all equipment purchase requisitions (PR) for the department
- In coordination with material coordinator/cataloger, enter data for all drilling stock item to build item master in e-SAR
- Maintain a copy of all service agreement and monitor their expenditure limit and expiry dates
- Assist staff engineers with service contracts/amendments
- Act as a liaison between DSM and SCM
- Assist staff engineers with Ariba/SMART
- Support CM/Finance members with Audits as required with historical data collection, analysis, tracking, presentation, etc., and work with engineers to resolve issues, and communicate actions
- May support and resolve project and department cost discrepancies requested
- May check accuracy of all department invoices and ensure timely payments
- May support Finance members with cost control and forecasting
- Provide administrative support to the team:
- Responsible to facilitate Engineering/Operations bi-weekly meetings including taking minutes and notify/remind actions
- Serves as a back up to other administrative support in the Wells Function
- Assists with other duties and special projects, as assigned by manager and other team members
- Liaison with new employees during onboarding & offboarding
- Report monthly tracking of metrics and AFEs internally and with Finance team; reconcile if needed
- Utilizes team tracking tools; Manage rotating crew’s schedule
- Administers time writing for rotational personnel, assuring correct AFEs are charged for rotational personnel in Wells.
- Organizes and compiles technical materials for workshops / technical meetings. Assists with facilitation.
- SharePoint Power User. Steward for Wells distribution list, & all shared email groups.
- May transfer data among multiple applications and databases.
- Responsible, and proficient in data cleanup efforts.
- Uses one or more database applications for responsibilities related to maintaining databases and for quality control of data.
- Has ability for basic ad-hoc data retrieval.
