Edi Integration Specialist

OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an EDI Specialist. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong analytical background who will be responsible for all EDI Management for the group. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use technical architecture, cloud and on-premise application integration to SaaS, ERP, & 3rd party applications. Operate iPaaS platforms like Celigo, Workato

• Web Services (SOAP & REST using XML/JSON Payloads)

• Use scripting tools like Xquery and Javascript

• Develop SOA Composites involving RESTful/SOAP APIs with XML, XSLT, JSON Standards

• Operate eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Big Commerce, Magento)

• Leverage pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, connections, SaaS applications etc in the solution

• Use SQL/PLSQL, Logical SQL Queries

• Lead requirements gathering, gap analysis and create technical requirements documentation

• Understand carrier coding and work with the EDI Tech Lead (Off-shore) to identify and solve integration file concerns

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to data integration and flow

• Assist with the mapping of data to/from common EDI formats to/from proprietary, XML, JSON, and other formats.

• Design and write transaction processing edit, transforms, and workflow.

• Perform system oversight and troubleshooting of mapping and management for EDI-based transactions and processes. This includes but is not limited to 850, 856, 810, 940, 945, 888, 943, 944s with the ability to understand raw data sets and identify mapping issues or bad data.

• Experience reading lookup translation tables is a plus

EXPERIENCE

• Familiar with EDI X12 Standards (850, 856, 810, 940, 945, 888, 943, 944)

• Enabling Web Services (SOAP & REST using XML/JSON Payloads)

• Familiar scripting tools like Xquery and Javascript

• Experience with an EDI platforms like SPS Commerce, Di Central, Orderfull

• Ability to create mapping documents X12 to JSON

• 3+ years of experience, previous EDI experience a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral

• Fluent in Microsoft Office with strong Microsoft Excel skills towards data analysis
