Retail Auditor

Conduct assigned audit activities (inventory, cash and operational audits) as per approved Audit Program for Retail operations to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.

Execute pre-defined audit programs audit procedures to ensure effective audit coverage.

Audit Programs/Development/changes: With senior approval, enhance audit programs necessary to promote effective audit coverage. Submit for review and approval.

Field Wok: Perform field work (in Retail Operations) in a competent and professional manner. Provide evidential documents for all report recommendations.

Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management.

Ensure completing work-on-time and self evaluating performance and variance reporting.

Identify key areas of risk and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.

Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.

Prepare and maintain standard workpapers for documenting audit test results as per approved Audit Manual.

Prepare practical recommendations for manger review.

Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls over the activities reviewed.

On spot Summary Memo and Reporting: Prepare and issue preliminary summary memo with all supporting to the HOD.

Final Report Preparation/Review: Prepare detailed report with practical recommendations and submit for HOD Review within pre-defined time frame.

Social Investigations: Possess ability to carry out assignments discreetly, effectively, and efficiently in sensitive, confidential circumstances.

Continuing Education: Pursue departmental approved program for continuing education for self.

Professionalism: Demonstrate superior performance in all attributes of professional conduct. Encourage others towards comparable performance.

Perform other related duties as assigned. Assist in day to day audit activities / task and administrative matters related to Audit Department.
