Assistant Technical Specialist (Engineer), Protection, HCMP
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise concerned construction staff to confirm well implementation of the construction activities in the assigned area.
- Prepare Cost estimation and BOQ of different construction work with in assigned areas.
- Ensure all construction related work are done according to the design and specifications.
- Maintain communication and liaison with Donors, Local Governing Bodies and other administrative bodies.
- Ensure the availability of construction material
- Visit field to monitor sites construction work and to identify fabrication and modification required
- Ensure representation and coordination of HCMP with ISCG (Inter Sector Coordination Group), national and local authorities, INGOs and other Sectors
- Conduct need assessment survey of different structure on the basis of beneficiaries / users demand and need
- Maintain proper archive management for further reference
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
NGO
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge in construction cost estimation, BOQ
- Knowledge in MS Office & Auto CAD
- Ability to work under pressure or in emergency situations
- Have standard knowledge on related field
- Problem solving & decision making on different issues
