Programme Organiser, Urban Development Programme (Project Staff)


Job Responsibilities
  • Implementation of UDP interventions at the field level as front line staff.
  • Closely follow up community organizers to ensure strong community mobilization and collective actions by community groups.
  • Maintain strong communication and networking with local government officials for implementing social accountability initiatives.
  • Follow up field level implementation in allocated district/city under UDP coverage.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare monthly MIS report.
  • Assist in organizing training, workshops and different events at the field level according to annual targets.
  • Provide support to the technical department & research, knowledge management & M&E department of UDP in the field for effective urban interventions.
  • Use monitoring data to solve performance issues.
  • Identify and assist in organizing capacity development trainings/workshops for the community organizers.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
