Project Manager, Climate Change Programme (CCP) (Project Staff)
Job Responsibilities
- Planning, executing and managing the adaptation clinic component of the programme.
- Providing necessary technical support on crop management at farmer’s field.
- Preparation of technical training module and provide training/Orientation/Refreshers to the programme participants.
- Selection of block and farmers group according to the criteria developed by the programme and dissemination of agricultural technologies to the farmer’s field.
- Programme participants selection according to the criteria. Preparation of crop cut and cost benefit reports and other project reports.
- Conducting socio-economic study on adoption of best practices and evaluation of climate smart technology at farmers’ field.
- Distribution of agriculture inputs and materials for climate adaptive agricultural activities
- Managing relationships with farmers, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of the programme outputs at field level
- Develop strategic partnership and networks with the relevant stakeholders at field level.
- Preparing monitoring and audit report from field level.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
