Area Manager - Retail
Job Responsibilities
- To ensure business target both in pairs & turnover.
- Keep record of stock movement and outlet stock within outlets.
- To review the performance of store manager and sales associates and propose necessary actions where needed.
- To ensure store administration including sales floor, stockroom and furniture/fixtures etc. are properly maintained as per particular brand standard and guideline.
- Always maintain outlet ambience neat and clean as per particular brand guideline and standard.
- To monitor and report Sales associate's traveling, monthly sales, outlet expense and petty cash with the assistance of store manager.
- If needed, person has to travel outside Dhaka to monitor outlets in other districts.
- Make sure outlet rent requisition, electric bill, trade license and, other bills and documents are submitted before due date and also renewed before expire date.
- Generate monthly sales report for each outlet separately and submit it to relevant authority before deadline.
- To assist/conduct Product physical inventory in each outlet at least once in every month and make report accordingly.
- To open new outlets in potential business hub and explore new business opportunity by establishing new outlets in potential location with approval from the department.
- To maintain Visual merchandise as per particular brand instruction and standard.
- Successful execution of any campaign proposed by management.
- To visit outlets on regular basis as per traveling plan and monitor sales activity in the outlet
- To ensure FIFO policy is maintained properly in outlet.
- To carryout inter-transfer of goods among outlet where needed with approval of the department.
- To develop business opportunities through institutional sales.
- Any other specific tasks / jobs assigned by the department manager any time.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
