Responsibilities & Context

To assist Head of Legal to ensure company’s’ duties/obligations are discharged as per applicable regulation. Vetting of property documents and Agreements, MoU prepared by 3rd party to protect the interest of the Company. Assist in case filing and Court matters, vetting review of documents, legal advice, opinion etc.

Follow up cases rigorously including Artha Rin Suits, NI cases, Writ Petitions, Cr. Misc Cases filed against IPDC and other criminal cases related to FI. Maintain case status & other relevant updates both in lower court and High Court.

To review briefs, plaints, complaints, affidavit in opposition, stay vacate applications motions and other related documents prepared by external counsel of IPDC in relation to filing of cases by IPDC and also cases filed against IPDC both in lower court and High Court.

Follow up law chambers/enlisted lawyers and ensure that they strictly follow up the cases of IPDC pending in various court and gets judgments in favour of IPDC.

Provide management and other departments with effective legal advice on business issues and company strategies.

Prepare and review various Agreements including Syndication relation Agreements prepared by Arranger, Deed of Agreements, Tri partite Agreement, Subscription Agreement, MoU prepared by 3rd parties.

Vetting of title/land documents. Follow up with the RM to collect wanting papers.

Participating in disbursement procedure (DCL) from legal aspect. Check every single document to ensure smooth disbursement of fund to client without any legal complicacy.
