Law Officer (Legal Research, Contracts & Compliance)

Conduct in-depth research on United States federal and state laws/regulations, evaluating their applicability to Company’s services and processes.

Prepare detailed memoranda on wide range of propositions, providing legal insight and making most suitable recommendations.

Vet and review various contracts applicable in both United States and Pakistan.

Provide back-up assistance in handling legal matters referred from Company’s on-shore and offshore departments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mitigate legal risks.

Prepare legal documents; review written material and provide input to on-shore and off-shore legal team; conduct legal analysis and summarization;

Collaborate and communicate effectively with both onshore and offshore legal teams.

Assist senior counsel in the effective prosecution of litigation matters in both the United States and Pakistan.

Prepare policies aligning with controlling laws/regulations.

Requirements:

Should be a Law Graduate.

Knowledge of US laws, legal frameworks, rules, and regulations.

Demonstrate exceptional research and analytical skills, especially using online legal databases.

Organized and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working during late evening to midnight shifts.

Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively present complex legal concepts in both written and verbal communication. Must have highly developed attention to detail.

Must be able to work both independently and within a team. Should be able to handle confidential information professionally and work with equal efficacy under pressure.
