Law Officer

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research on federal and state laws/regulations, evaluating their applicability to the Company’s services and processes.

Prepare detailed memoranda on a range of legal propositions, providing insights and recommendations.

Vet and review various contracts applicable in both US and Pakistan jurisdictions.

Assist in handling legal matters referred from HR and Admin Departments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mitigate legal risks.

Collaborate effectively with senior members of the Legal Department in the US and Pakistan.

Assist senior counsel in the effective prosecution of litigation matters in both the US and Pakistan.

Prepare policies aligning with controlling laws/regulations.

Requirements:

Possess a Law degree.

Knowledge of US laws, legal frameworks, rules, and regulations.

Demonstrate exceptional research skills, especially in legal online databases.

Comfortable working in late evening to midnight shifts.

Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively present complex legal concepts in both written and verbal communication.
