- Using DevOps/Agile as the core philosophy for software development or delivery versus doing development with DevOps/Agile.
- Implementing an agile software delivery process using JIRA (including breaking down work into modular tasks, updating/tracking task status/working log entries for sprint management), Git (source code management including branching strategy, code review), Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines (automated builds, automated unit test cases) and Chef/Ansible (auto-deployment using zerodowntime application deployment techniques).
- Providing micro-services development experience on cloud computing platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Proactively communicating and collaborating with the architects and engineering managers to analyze business needs and functional requirements and deliver the scalable micro-service cloud platform.
- Working independently with architects to define concepts and having internal technical discussions, acting as a subject matter expert, and having strategic influence on critical engagements and activities.
- Driving and mentoring developers on successful execution of designs and plans.
- Serving as a conduit between the architecture and the software development teams through which requirements flow.
- Liaise with the software developers, engineering managers and support teams for effective execution of projects.
- You possess a BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university.You have 8+ years experience leading, designing, deploying, and/or on-boarding private/hybrid/public cloud solutions leveraging technologies like NodeJS (ExpressJS/Others), ReactJS, SQL/NoSQL database, web/app server, Chef, Ansible etc.You have hands-on experience deploying applications on Cloud Platform like Azure or AWS and have also worked with Docker/Container & Kubernetes.Experience writing configuring, deploying and testing MEAN/MERN Stack applications is required.You have also worked with Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, GraphQL.You also possess hands-on experience in SDLC, requirements and specifications engineering, development, integration, software testing and deployment along with experience developing or operating enterprise applications at scale.A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems, and solutions development and an across more than one technical domain would be helpful.You have real-world experience within IT & other solutions environments including creating a product or IT solution in the area of middleware technologies (application server, web server, distributed cache, message queuing, BI, API management, service registry) and also have experience with the ITIL framework, particularly Incident, Change, and Problem Management.You have demonstrated ability in performing proofs-of-concept for validating new technology or approach.You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.Certification from leading Cloud providers like - Azure, AWS would be a strong plus.
