Hardware Support Engineer
Responsibilities
Plan installation at client’s side after receiving SOW from SMD
- Send pre installation note along with complete info of Support staff to client
- In some cases deal with contractor to complete pre-installation steps at client premises
- Set up installation within the timelines and coordinate the schedule with client
- Schedule relevant engineer for the installation after discussing SOW
- Incase of critical installation where engineer requires support from Sr. Engineer or from other department, coordinate with concern person to get the required support
- Stay in contact with client and engineer for smooth installation completion
- Receive, check and file installation certificate signed by client from the engineer
- Incase of any problems in an installation, keep all matters clear by informing client, own department, SMD, management about the status
- Coordinate with all concerned to remove the issues and complete the installation
