Security Officer

Conduct routine patrols to identify and address security risks.

Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for prompt detection and response to security issues.

Control access points, verifying the identity of individuals and issuing visitor badges.

Maintain an accurate log of visitors and ensure restricted areas are only accessed by authorized personnel.

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly, taking immediate action to mitigate threats.

Coordinate with emergency services when necessary and document all incidents and suspicious activities.

Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Communicate effectively with team members and superiors, sharing information and updates.

Ensure proper functioning of security equipment and report any malfunctions for repairs.

Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries and directions.

Qualifications:

Intermediate or equivalent; additional education in a related field is a plus.

Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role.

Knowledge of security procedures and practices.

Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
