Job Responsibilities
- Ensure land measurement, land mutation land registration, land ownership, land related papers/document and other assets of BRAC.
- Coordinate pending Civil & Land related cases/suits in different courts.
- Coordinate land-related all legal matters & maintain liaison with various Govt. and Non-Govt. organization such as AC Land office, Tahshil, Sub-Registry office.
- Dealing with land-related activities such as land measurement, verification of title & legal rights, mutation of land & other legal documents from related Govt. department etc.
- To prepare Deed of Agreement, Power of Attorney, Sale deed, Sub-Kabla deed, etc. in Bengali & English.
- To collect office-related papers from Court and Land record office for different cases like Deeds, Maps, Porcha, Dakhila, a mutation from concern Tohsil offices/Land offices.
- To identify & monitor land-related problems and arrange remedial measures. Attend registration at Registrar Office (or commission) of land.
- Investigate in various Govt. offices as well as concerned offices for verifying legal documents.
- To understand all land related document, (C.S, S.A, R.A,S, City Jorip (BRS), mutation, deed, via deed, portion of porcha). Prepare chain of ownership by vetting provided documents.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
