Officer - Security (Contractual), HCMP
Job Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and check the duties of security guards of the premises in the field to ensure quality and effective physical guarding.
- Attend field meetings as and when asked to do and keep the field offices updated on new security initiatives and guidelines.
- Maintain good communication with internal departments (operations, programs, etc) to know the demand for security support.
- Conduct physical guarding training, fire safety drill and other security protocols to the staff planned.
- Assist supervisors (senior manager safety and security and manager security) in planning and implementing the actions to reduce the security risks in Ukhia/ Teknaf.
- Timely report any incident and share any information with supervisors.
- Ensure safety and security equipment and materials in place and in effectiveness in the field offices and centres.
- Perform and do the tasks as assigned by supervisors in coordination with program and operations staff of BRAC HCMP.
- Be compliant to BRAC’s code of conduct and safeguarding (harm, abuse, harassment, and sexual exploitation) policy, and contribute establish a safe working environment.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
