Area Manager - Restaurant

Responsibilities

One of our sister organizations engaged in the hospitality industry is looking for an experienced “Area Manager” to lead the overall team and monitor all functional and operational matters to achieve individual and overall business targets. The incumbent must have vast experience of renowned international or local Fast Food chains with high customer interaction. Must be self-driven with strong communicational skills with practical and rigorous exposure in all the administrative and managerial matters including but not limited to customer services, team leading, operations management, and marketing. This position requires an active person with exceptional decision-making skills to bring new ideas for business sustainability, growth, and expansion

·         Leading & monitoring all areas of the operations; housekeeping, food and beverages, sales, and marketing to ensure the smooth running of the operational business activities

·         Explore and analyze the market trends to identify new opportunities in the assigned region

·         Ensure compliance with the local regulations regarding safe food handling, storage, and preparation (HACCP)

·         Ensures well-planned supply chain management of the merchandise, inventory management/maintenance to ensure value for money and services by approved contracts

·         Well planned and realistic target setting to maximizing profitability

·         Bring improvements/innovation/creativity in day to day operations

·         Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and suggest improvement if needed

·         Introduce exciting and catchy sales/promotional deals to reach out the potential customers

·         Focus on creating positive word-of-mouth to boost sales.

·         Share progress reports & intimate senior management regarding the prevailing issues along with solutions to ensure productivity

·         Coaching & motivating the entire team for managing daily operations including using the POS (point of sale), follow procedures and recipes, polish customer service skills, ensure cleaning checklists and opening and closing procedures are being followed, and achieving daily sales

Job Specification:

·         Bachelors/Master’s degree holder

·         Certifications in the hospitality industry would be a plus

·         Good track record of revenue generation and business development in the relevant industry

·         Excellent customer service skills, Flexibility & Consistency, interpersonal & Communication skills, Problem-solving skills, and Teamworking

·         5 + years of experience in a managerial position

·         Must be skilled in maintaining food hygiene, numeracy, and literacy skills.
